Bloch, Town Planner
The meeting convened at 7:00 PM.
The minutes from September 11th were
approved.
Dana provided a draft of the Planning Process that
she updated, incorporating the “design statement” process suggested by Nick
Wates, recognizing that several steps in the process have already been
accomplished, and including a few other tweaks including the timeline.
Dana also announced that the Vermont Land Trust has
committed to support the process with $5,000.
She will contact the Preservation Trust of Vermont to determine what
that organization’s support will be.
Dana also indicated that VLT and PTV have approved
the Planning Process. The next needed
action is for the Selectboard to approve the process. Charles will put it on the Selectboard’s next agenda (for October
27, 2003).
There was discussion over whether septic testing
should be done at this time or later in the process. Charles said that some septic information is known, and it
probably won’t be that expensive to fill in the gaps.
There was discussion about undertaking another
survey, possibly at Town Meeting.
Action items:
C
Dana
will contact PTV to find out what they will contribute to the process.
C
Dean
will put the Planning Process on the Selectboard agenda for approval.
C
Dana
will invite Brian Shupe and Steve Libby to the next meeting.
Next Meeting
The next meeting was scheduled for Wednesday
November 19th at 7:00 PM.
The meeting adjourned at 8:30 PM.
Respectfully Submitted,
Dean Bloch
