Milton's school system has one high school/junior high school (grades 7 - 12) and one elementary school (grades K - 6) and is proud to claim Vermont's 1996 Teacher of the Year.  The students are well respected as state champions in various sports and other activities.

University of Vermont, Saint Michael's College, Champlain College, Trinity College, Community College of Vermont are all within a 20 minute drive.

Other vocational and technical schools are also within a 20 minute drive.
